Installer FAQs

What are the benefits of installing Kora for my customers?

Kora helps you future-proof your business and deliver a next-generation energy system your customers actually want. With the Kora Smart Panel, homeowners get real control — room-by-room visibility, outage protection, and the ability to cut waste instantly. With Powerblocks, they gain scalable storage built for harsh environments.

Kora installs like a standard subpanel, works for both retrofits and new builds, and gives your customers a clean path to solar, batteries, EV charging, and full home electrification.

How can I sell Kora to my customers?

Our Installer Portal includes sales training, marketing materials, and product resources you can use on-site or online. Once you create an account, you’ll get everything you need to introduce Kora’s Smart Panel, Powerblocks, and Energy Trading to homeowners.

Only Kora Authorized Installers can install and commission Kora systems. Becoming authorized is simple and fast: share basic business info, sign the installer agreement, and complete a short on-demand training. You can do the entire process from your phone or laptop.

How long does it take to install Kora?

Most swaps take 2–8 hours — similar to replacing a standard electrical panel. Kora is built to fit into the workflow electricians already know, without a service upgrade or a critical loads panel.

Powerblocks install as modular, stackable units, so expanding storage later is quick and easy.

How do I become a Kora Authorized Installer?

Kora is intentionally designed to install and service like a standard panel. The only extra step is commissioning — connecting the Smart Panel and Powerblocks to the homeowner’s Kora App. This process is covered in a short video training you can complete anywhere.

To get authorized, simply apply through the Installer Portal, provide your business details, sign the agreement, and complete the training. Once approved, you can install and commission the full Kora system.

How does Kora support its installers?

Installers get access to virtual training, detailed install guides, wiring diagrams, and on-the-job resources. Our support team will be available Monday–Friday to help with technical questions and troubleshooting during installs.

We built Kora to make your work easier — and your business stronger.
