Refund policy
Scope & Purpose
This policy applies to purchases of Kora products (e.g., Powerblocks, Smart Panels, associated accessories and services) made directly through Kora or authorized dealers. Due to the custom, hazardous nature of lithium‑iron‑phosphate energy storage systems and electrical components, our return procedures differ from typical retail goods.
Order Cancellation

Pre‑shipping cancellations: Reservations and orders may be cancelled prior to shipment for a full refund of any deposit or purchase price, provided manufacturing or assembly has not begun. Contact support@korapower.com as soon as possible with your order number.

Post‑shipping cancellations: Once your order has shipped or installation is scheduled, cancellations or returns are generally not accepted except for eligible accessories (see Section 3).
Return Eligibility

Eligible items: Only unused, uninstalled accessories (e.g., mounting brackets, cables, non‑electrical consumables) may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in the original packaging, with all tags and documentation intact, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Custom systems and installed products: Returns are not accepted for installed or commissioned equipment, custom configurations, or energy storage systems (Powerblocks modules, Smart Panels) once shipped. These products are subject to warranty service (Section 7) rather than returns.

Unopened batteries or panels: Contact us within 30 days if you decide not to install a standard configuration. Returns may be authorized at Kora’s discretion, subject to inspection and restocking fees.
Non‑Returnable Items
Installed or partially installed electrical systems, custom orders, software licenses, used or damaged equipment, and gift cards cannot be returned
Return Authorization & Process

Request an RMA: Before shipping any item back, email support@korapower.com or call 916‑245‑6649 to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Provide your order number, serial numbers, reason for return and photographs if requested. Items returned without an RMA will not be accepted.

Packaging and shipping: Use original packaging when possible. Lithium‑ion products must be shipped in compliance with hazardous‑materials regulations. Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the return is due to our error or a confirmed defect.

Return address: The correct return address and shipping instructions will be provided in your RMA confirmation. Please do not ship any products to us until you receive that confirmation.
Inspection, Restocking & Refunds
All returns are inspected and tested. We reserve the right to deny refunds for used, installed or damaged products. Restocking fees may apply. Approved refunds are issued within 7–10 business days after inspection and send confirmation by email. Processing times may vary by bank; please allow up to 15 business days before contacting us about delayed refunds.
Damaged, Defective & Warranty Claims

Transit damage: Please inspect all deliveries immediately upon arrival. If there is visible damage, note it on the delivery receipt and contact Kora within 24 hours with photographs so we can file a claim and arrange a replacement.

Defective or DOA products: If you experience an issue believed to be a manufacturing defect, contact technical support (support@korapower.com). We will troubleshoot remotely and, if confirmed, provide repair or replacement under the product’s warranty. Warranty service is separate from the returns process and may involve on‑site service by authorized personnel.

Product warranty: Kora offers a limited warranty covering materials and workmanship for our energy storage systems (see your product’s warranty statement for terms). Warranty remedies typically include repair or replacement rather than refund.
European Union 14‑Day Cooling‑Off Period
For eligible accessories shipped into the EU, you may cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt for any reason. The items must be unused, uninstalled and in the original packaging. Due to transportation regulations, lithium‑ion batteries and installed systems may not be returnable under this cooling‑off right; we will provide guidance when you contact us.
