Kora Home Energy System Limited Warranty (End Users)
Effective Date: August 1, 2026
Issued by: Kora Power, Inc. ("Kora")
Applies to: Kora-branded home energy system components sold for residential use, including (as applicable) Smart Panel, Powerblocks modular batteries, hybrid inverter / power conversion hardware, and Kora-branded accessories (collectively, "Products").
Scope; Who is Covered
This Limited Warranty applies only to the original end-user purchaser and any subsequent owner at the original installation address who can provide proof of ownership (the "Owner").
Transfer of coverage. Coverage transfers automatically to a subsequent owner at the original installation address for the remainder of the applicable Warranty Term, provided the new owner can provide proof of ownership and, if requested by Kora, completes Kora's ownership-transfer process. This Limited Warranty does not cover any Product that is removed from, or reinstalled away from, the original installation address, except with Kora's prior written consent.
Eligibility Requirements
This Limited Warranty is valid only if each covered Product:
· Was purchased from Kora directly or one of Kora’s authorized installers or authorized resellers; and
· Was installed and commissioned by a Kora Authorized Installer in accordance with Kora’s then-current installation instructions and applicable codes. For purposes of this Limited Warranty, a “Kora Authorized Installer” is defined as a person or entity that has completed training to install the covered Products (such training to be determined by Kora in its sole discretion), has a valid agreement with Kora and is in good standing with Kora at the time of installation; and
· Is registered/commissioned in Kora’s systems as part of system activation (including remote connectivity setup).
The installation and training requirements above exist to protect safety and ensure proper functioning of high-voltage equipment. Kora will not deny an otherwise valid warranty claim solely because an installer's agreement with Kora has lapsed or the installer is no longer in good standing, so long as the Product was installed by a person licensed to perform such electrical work in the applicable jurisdiction, in accordance with Kora's installation instructions and applicable codes.
Warranty Terms
Defects in Materials and Workmanship
Subject to the exclusions below, Kora warrants that covered Products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the following periods (the "Warranty Term"), measured from initial installation/commissioning date:
· Smart Panel + core system control hardware: 12 years
· Powerblocks (battery modules): 12 years
· Inverter / power conversion hardware: 12 years
· Gateway / communications module(s): 12 years
· Accessories / sensors / CTs / relays / small parts: 12 years.
Repair/replacement does not extend the original Warranty Term; only the remaining portion applies.
Start of Warranty Term; installation window. Each Warranty Term begins on the date the applicable Product is installed and commissioned. However, if a Product is not installed and commissioned within six (6) months after the date Kora ships it (including any shipment to a reseller or distributor for later resale), the Warranty Term for that Product will instead begin on the date that is six (6) months after Kora's shipment date.
Remedies (sole remedy)
If a Product fails to conform to this Limited Warranty during the Warranty Term, Kora will, in its sole discretion:
· Repair the Product (new or refurbished parts), or
· Replace the Product with a new or refurbished equivalent.
Repaired or replacement Products assume the remaining Warranty Term. The above shall be Kora’s sole responsibility with respect to Warranty claims, and customer’s sole remedy.
Labor / site work: Unless prohibited by applicable law or expressly included in a written Kora installer program, this Limited Warranty covers parts and standard ground shipping only. Field labor, permits, inspections, and electrical work by third party installers are not covered and should be covered by those installers policies.
This Limited Warranty applies to Products installed at residential addresses in the fifty United States and the District of Columbia. Standard ground shipping of warranty parts is included to addresses in the contiguous United States; shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories may take longer, and any additional freight cost may be billed to the Owner.
What This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover (Exclusions)
This Limited Warranty does not cover defects, failures, or damage caused by or resulting from:
· Misuse, abuse, negligence, improper handling, or use outside documented operating limits;
· Improper, non-code-compliant, or unauthorized installation, commissioning, repair, or maintenance;
· Unauthorized modification, tampering, or opening of sealed enclosures;
· External events / force majeure (including lightning, flood, fire, earthquake, storms, utility anomalies) and resulting surge/overvoltage conditions;
· Damage caused by non-Kora or non-approved third-party components, interoperability issues, or improper integration;
· Cosmetic issues and normal wear and tear that do not materially affect functionality (scratches, dents, discoloration, etc.);
· Gradual loss of battery energy capacity or performance over time and use, which is a normal characteristic of rechargeable batteries and is not a defect in materials or workmanship. This Limited Warranty does not include any minimum capacity-retention, state-of-health, or energy-throughput guarantee;
· Theft, loss, or damage occurring after the Warranty Term;
· Data loss, software/apps, network services, cellular coverage, or third-party utility programs/VPP participation;
· Relocation/reinstallation at a different site without Kora’s prior written consent;
· Commercial use, unless Kora has explicitly authorized commercial coverage in writing.
Connectivity, Remote Updates, and Commissioning Requirement
Kora systems use software/firmware and may require remote updates to maintain safety, performance, and compliance. By connecting Products to the internet, Owner consents to Kora delivering remote updates that may temporarily interrupt operation.
Failure to commission / maintain connectivity: If a system is not properly commissioned/registered, or remains disconnected for an extended period preventing necessary updates, Kora may be unable to provide full warranty coverage. In that event, Kora will still honor a minimum warranty of two (2) years from delivery or two (2) years from installation (as applicable), subject to exclusions and limitations.
For clarity, being 'disconnected for an extended period' means a continuous period of more than three (3) months during which the system cannot receive required safety, compliance, or firmware updates. Kora encourages Owners to keep the system connected and registered at all times to preserve full coverage and enable remote diagnostics.
How to Make a Claim
To initiate a claim, Owner must contact Kora Support at support@korapower.com or 855-873-5672. Please be prepared to provide information related to the installation address and the system.
Kora may require a return authorization (RMA) before accepting any returned Product. Products returned without authorization may be refused.

Disclaimer of Other Warranties
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE ONLY EXPRESS WARRANTY KORA PROVIDES FOR THE PRODUCTS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KORA DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES. KORA DOES NOT DISCLAIM ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY THAT CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW; HOWEVER, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE APPLICABLE WARRANTY TERM. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KORA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF USE, OR LOSS OF DATA). KORA’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE AFFECTED PRODUCT (EXCLUDING LABOR/INSTALLATION), EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
Limitation on Use (Life-Safety)
The Products are not intended for use as a primary or backup power source for life-support systems, medical equipment, or any application where failure could lead to injury, death, or catastrophic property damage. Kora disclaims liability arising from such prohibited uses and may decline service for Products used in such applications.
Your Statutory Rights; State Variations
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Nothing in this Limited Warranty limits, restricts, or waives any right or remedy you may have under the mandatory consumer-protection or warranty laws of your state of residence, including, for California residents, the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act. To the extent any provision of this Limited Warranty conflicts with a right that cannot be waived under applicable law, that provision applies only to the fullest extent permitted, and the remaining provisions stay in effect.
Governing Law; Venue
This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except to the extent preempted by applicable federal law or by a non-waivable consumer-protection law of the Owner's state of residence. Subject to any non-waivable right of a consumer to bring an action in the consumer's home jurisdiction, the state and federal courts located in Sacramento, California will have jurisdiction over any dispute relating to this Limited Warranty, and the parties consent to venue there. Nothing in this section prevents either party from bringing a claim in small claims court.
Dispute Resolution
Before either party initiates arbitration or any court proceeding, the party with a dispute must first provide written notice to the other party describing the nature of the dispute and the relief requested. Notice to Kora must be sent to Kora Support at support@korapower.com or such other address as Kora may designate in writing. The parties will then attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days after the notice is received. If the dispute is not resolved within that 30-day period, either party may proceed as set forth below.
Except for the claims and remedies expressly excluded below, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Limited Warranty, the Products, or any warranty service, including the formation, interpretation, breach, enforcement, validity, or enforceability of this Limited Warranty or this Dispute Resolution section, will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS under the JAMS Consumer Arbitration Minimum Standards and the applicable JAMS rules then in effect, except to the extent those rules are inconsistent with this Limited Warranty. The arbitration will be conducted by a single neutral arbitrator.
The arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis only. You and Kora agree that neither party may bring or participate in any class action, collective action, consolidated action, private attorney general action, or other representative proceeding, whether in arbitration or in court. The arbitrator may award relief only in favor of the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to resolve that party’s individual claim. The arbitrator may not consolidate the claims of multiple persons or preside over any form of representative, class, collective, or consolidated proceeding.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from bringing an individual claim in small claims court if the claim qualifies for that court and remains only in that court. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking temporary or preliminary injunctive relief in court to preserve the status quo or prevent irreparable harm, or from bringing claims relating to intellectual property rights or unauthorized use of confidential information in court.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, the arbitration will take place in Sacramento, California. The arbitrator will have authority to award any relief that would be available in court on an individual basis, including attorneys’ fees and costs where authorized by applicable law.
The allocation and payment of arbitration fees will be governed by the applicable JAMS rules and consumer standards. If required by applicable law or the applicable JAMS rules, Kora will pay any arbitration fees or costs that it is required to pay in order for this arbitration agreement to be enforceable.
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to Kora within 30 days after the later of your purchase of the Product or your receipt of this Limited Warranty. The opt-out notice must include your name, installation address, Product information if available, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration. Opting out of arbitration will not affect any other provision of this Limited Warranty.
If any portion of this Dispute Resolution section is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that portion will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law and the remaining portions will remain in effect. However, if the class, collective, consolidated, or representative action waiver is found to be invalid or unenforceable as to a particular claim or request for relief, then that claim or request for relief may be brought only in a court of competent jurisdiction and not in arbitration, and only on an individual basis unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Severability
If any provision of this Limited Warranty is held invalid or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. A determination that a provision is invalid or unenforceable in one jurisdiction does not affect its validity or enforceability in any other jurisdiction.
Entire Warranty; No Other Commitments
This document is Kora's entire Limited Warranty for the Products and supersedes any prior or contemporaneous statements or representations. No dealer, distributor, reseller, installer, employee, or other person is authorized to create, expand, or modify any warranty, or to make any commitment, on Kora's behalf, and any such statement is not binding on Kora. This Limited Warranty may be modified only in a writing signed by an authorized officer of Kora. Kora may assign or delegate its rights and obligations under this Limited Warranty, including to a successor or a third-party warranty administrator.
