Kora Founders Edition Install 1.2 | Kill the Power: Lockout/Tagout

Shut off the service and make the work area safe before you touch a single wire.

1 min read

Before you touch a single wire, shut off the service and make the work area safe. The Smart Panel can be back-fed from more than one source, so lockout/tagout comes before any mounting or wiring work.

Isolate the utility service and any generator, solar or battery source that could feed the panel, then prove the work area is dead.

Key steps

  • Open the main service disconnect
  • Apply your lockout/tagout
  • Verify absence of voltage on each phase with a CAT III or CAT IV meter
