Connect the emergency stop button to the Smart Panel's E-stop terminals.

Connect the emergency stop button to the Smart Panel. The button is mounted outside, by the utility meter.

Pressing the button stops the whole system from releasing energy. The home stays without backup power until someone releases the button.

Key steps

  • Run 18-gauge signal cable from the panel's E-stop terminals to the button by the utility meter
  • Land the cable on the E-stop terminals
  • One E-stop covers the whole system
